Guide prices
Nobody in Surrey will tell you what anything costs.
We looked. Every bespoke joinery firm in the county hides behind “book a free design visit”. That is fine as far as it goes, but it wastes your evening if your budget and their bench rate were never in the same postcode. So here are real starting figures.
A guide, not a quote.
Every figure below includes materials and fitting. They are indicative 2026 prices for Surrey. Your actual quote is fixed, in writing, and comes after we have measured. It does not move afterwards.
If a number here is wildly away from what you had in mind, ring and say so. We would rather tell you in two minutes that we are the wrong firm than take up an evening finding out together.

Why two quotes for the same job differ by thousands.
Carcass material
Painted MDF, birch ply, veneered board and solid timber sit at very different price points and look identical in a photograph. Ask what is behind the paint.
Where it is made
Site-built and hand-painted costs more in labour but fits a crooked wall properly. Sprayed off site gives a harder finish but needs the room to be closer to square.
Internal specification
Drawers and pull-outs are the single biggest swing. A wardrobe of hanging rails and shelves can be half the price of the same box full of drawer boxes.
The state of the room
Sloping ceilings, chimney breasts, boxed pipework and floors that fall away all add time. None of it is a surprise once someone has measured.
VAT
Whether VAT applies depends on the work and the property. It is confirmed on your written quote rather than left as a nasty line at the end.
